These are some Zins I tasted at the ZAP festival at South Community College, Sunday, the 27th.

Apparently, I am not a Zinfandel connoiseur, as I wasn’t a big fan of many of zins offered. However, Steele Winery of Clear Lake CA. had a very nice 2007, from 100 year old vines. Smooth, balanced and not too hot! Under $20. Also, 2007 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, (84% Zinfandel, 16% Petite Sirah) from Sebastiani’s Appellation Selection series was very nice. Under $25.
