Gifts of the Earth
I had the opportunity to pour some great wines at Gifts of the Earth, “a pairing of Washington’s finest food and wine” event, at South Seattle Community College as part of the NW Wine Academy. This was a collaboration of students, staff, faculty and community supporters. The students from the culinary program were able to showcase their culinary talent. Students from the N.W.W.A. poured wines that were crafted at the on-site winery at S.S.C.C. Although I didn’t get to try any of it, the food smelled fabulous!
At our table we offered Nota Bene, Dusted Valley, Fall Line, Isenhower Cellars, Kyra, and Calico Red from Bergevin Lane. In addition, there were many other wineries represented at the event.
