Analogue Vineyard Update mid spring 2010

As you can see from the pictures, power is coming to Analogue very soon! By our next trip out we should be able to use the lights and have running water in the trailer for the first time! Were even shopping around for a fridge! Ah, luxury! We also continued on our quest to clear about a quarter of an acre for planting this fall or more likely next spring (haven’t made up my mind yet).

No signs of life on the 21 vines we planted last September. Ug! I really wanted them to make it! In addition most of the doug fir I planted bit  the dust as well. However, all of the aspen made it, so today I ran out and bought some more, along with smaller doug fir, shore pine as this is what Scott recommended in the first place. We also took a scenic drive out to Nesplemun to sign up for the power co-op.

No bear sighting this time. However, we did see a coyote in the middle of the day.

That’s it till our June trip out!
